ok sorry folks, that first recipe should read 30ml essential oils, SORRY AGAIN :-) and once the soap is poured into your mold, insulate it with towels and remove and cut in the morning, don't use for about 6 weeks though

ok so first batch of soap I made consisted of
500gr palm oil
250gr coconut oil
250gr olive oil
44gr sodium hydroxide
350gr distilled water
10ml essential oil
10gr color, additives etc
Melt the palm and coconut oils, then add the olive oil to it, then add the combined sodium hydroxide and distilled water and combine well.
Then add the scent and color once the mixture has slightly thickened (this is called trace) and combine REALLY well, then pour it all into a mold, you can use empty milk cartons that have been rinsed well if u don't have anything for a mold
The next day, tear the milk carton away or remove from your mold and cut into bars and then leave out, for about 6 weeks before u can use it

First up, Ill explain something
In September 2007 my heart stopped beating as soon as I got out of bed and of course I collapsed , and luckily for me my husband Trevor was home and saw that my face was going blue, so he immediately started to work on my heart and got it going again but then I was in a coma, so he called an ambulance and they took me to hospital for a month.
I came out of the coma the next day and am ok now, I've had a pacemaker installed, I'm only 48 too
But I forgot alot of things, I forgot that my mother has died even though I was with her when she died at home of cervical cancer and thank God I was adopted so obviously I don't have it, I forgot that both of Trevor's parents have died and I forgot that a dear friend of mine has died too so its been hard, but I'm soooo glad to still be alive cos I'm too young to die yet :-)
When I got out of hospital and came home, I saw that Trevor has built our new house, it was built before I went into hospital but I just forgot it was and I saw the room for my making soap in and was rapt so asked Trevor if he wanted to learn how to make soap and he did so I just told him to follow one of my recipes but just choose his own scents and he enjoyed making it soooo much that he made another 5 batches over the next week :-)
I think I was gonna begin making it and selling it but now there are new rules in Australia so I can't do that, I used to swap soap with some other soapers and they always liked mine so thats good, but I'm just gonna make it for us and our son and our daughter and her family too now
